This visually dense work is an early conceptual precursor to the later text-based piece CONSCIOUSNESS AS AN INTERFACE, realized within the framework of Kunstbasis Ebertplatz with the support of Stefanie Klingemann. It merges media theory, psychology, and spiritual inquiry into a speculative vision of the internet as a zone of transpersonal consciousness.

At its core is the idea of understanding human consciousness not as a closed subject but as an interface—a bridge between external reality and a collective unconscious, as conceptualized by C.G. Jung. The image presents a cosmic network of interconnected nodes—symbolizing digital communication—spiraling toward a central vortex-like iris. At the center, technoid and organic forms intertwine with the words “ME YOU US” and “UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS.”

The work poses the question of how digital interconnectedness via the internet transforms this consciousness interface: does it contribute to the emergence of a new collective awareness—or does it merely re-inscribe existing unconscious structures into new technical systems?
